What To Expect When Our Office Reopens on June 6, 2020
I hope this letter finds you, your family and co-workers in good health. These last few months have been difficult for all of us. Our hearts go out to anyone who lost a loved one. We missed each of you and appreciate your patience and understanding. As we enter the re-emergence phase of this crisis I am writing to let you know of the changes in our workflow and infections control when our office reopens on June 6, 2020.
- Heightened infection control including aerosol disinfection.
- Barriers for the office staff
- A reduction in touchpoints
- Paperless communications.
- The addition of filters and air cleaners
Here is what you can expect at your next appointment:
Before Your Appointment
To help make sure patients arriving for their appointments are healthy the office may call you before your appointment and ask you some questions about your current health. We will also repeat these questions when you arrive to make sure nothing has changed.
We ask you not to bring anyone to your appointment unless absolutely necessary. That could mean leaving your children at home or allowing older children to go into the office alone while you wait outside during the appointment.
At Your Appointment
Be sure to wear a mask to your appointment. If you do not have one, one will be provided by us. When you arrive at the office you please call 908.879.7709 from your car. This will allow us to totally prepare your room. This will reduce the number of people in the office and reduce the amount of time you are close to other people. When you enter the office you will be asked to use the hand sanitizer, update your patient info and have your temperature taken.
Inside the office you may notice things people often touch in the waiting room – like toys or magazines –have been removed.
After Your Appointment
After your appointment is over the staff will thoroughly clean the areas where you have been using disinfectants that are effective against the virus that causes COVID-19 to prepare for the next patient. This helps reduce the risk of illness being passed to others.
If you start feeling ill with the symptoms of COVID-19 within 14 days after your appointment call us at 908.879.7709. For the health and safety of everyone who visits this office please let us know.
I am always available to answer any questions. My mobile number is 908.285.7623.
Remember, regular dental visits are an essential part of your oral and your overall health. We will make sure your visit is as safe as possible for everyone involved.
Thank you for continued confidence in me and my staff. We will strive to ensure the highest level of patient care and safety. Please feel free to call me directly with any question, concerns or merely to chat. My mobile is: 908.285.7623. If I do not answer include a good time to call back when you leave your message.
